Performance Through People formed its roots in the 1970’s. This came from an increased need for training and development, the (then) Walsall Chamber of Commerce was receiving a high influx of requests for support in this area. Performance Through People began in a large engineering centre in Sandwell to meet the demand. Once the company became established expansion soon followed, allowing for delivery of training in a range of occupational areas throughout the wider Black Country.

From its humble beginnings PTP is now one of the leading training providers in the Midlands and has five centres throughout Birmingham, Black Country and Staffordshire. Performance Through People now delivers Apprenticeships, Commercial Courses and Funded Training throughout the country and has over 100 employees.

In May 2020 we were delighted to became part of the BCTG Group which provides even more opportunities for our staff and our clients.
